Our Lithium batteries by road and sea course is designed to equip delegates with the knowledge and skills to be able to prepare a consignment of lithium batteries by road and/or sea in compliance with the ADR regulations and the IMDG code.
By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
• Classify lithium batteries and cells
• Assign the appropriate UN number to identify the lithium batteries or cells
• Identify and understand the UN 38.3 Test Reports for lithium batteries and cells
• Comply with any relevant special provisions for consignments
• Package lithium batteries and cells in accordance with the relevant packing instruction
• Mark and label packages
• Complete the required documentation
• Correctly mark and placard vehicles and containers
• Recognize responsibilities when loading vehicles and containers
Following this 1 day course there will be an examination; successful delegates will receive a certificate which is valid for two years.
